Elastic is hard to find now, You can use the thin pony tail holders.  I'm using 550 paracord (100 feet for about $10). Of course as a scouter I use paracord for a lot of stuff, not just survival bracelets and belts.

HAND SANITIZER

The CDC recommends a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. This recipe will give about 68% when made with 90% alcohol or even 180 proof drinking alcohol (like some vodkas).

  1. In a bowl or cup mix 2 parts of 90% alcohol and 1 part pure aloe vera gel.

  2. Combine well.

  3. If desired add 8 to 10 drops of an essential oil for fragrance.

  4. Transfer to an empty bottle with a funnel. I like the squeeze bottles you can get to put lotion or shampoo in fro travel.

Important note: The CDC says that 30 seconds of hand washing with antibacterial soap is better then hand sanitizer.
